Wonderland
Product design and illustration for an interpretation of the classic Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland novel written by Lewis Carroll. I chose Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland due to the impact it has had on me growing up.
I did not want to reflect too much on the already fantastic work done by Disney or other previous illustrations. From visiting classic themes and traditional Victorian layouts, I decided to go for a modern approach where the mini publication comes included with packaging and playing cards.
The book’s narrative is expressed through page size changes and altering typography. Just as Alice’s Journey is about changing, growing and shrinking so does the book.
